Better Traffic Monitoring with TomTom travel data
During the construction of the A2 tunnel in Maastricht, the South-Netherlands traffic control centre has access to TomTom travel times for 24 projects in and around Maastricht. The A2 tunnel is a future double land tunnel in The Netherlands, located in the A2 motorway in Maastricht. To display current traffic information to travellers it is required to have information about the traffic situation on the road network.
